Would you like to know authentic Sicily? The Sicily of our grandparents and ancestors, that of ancient arts, ancient crafts. Discover and learn about all the typical flavors, see Sicilian housewives cooking with ancient recipes handed down from generation to generation? Or, see the local ladies at work during the art of embroidery? We will take you to visit the shops where you will see the finished product made starting from the raw material: from wheat to flour and from flour to bread, inside a museum shop with one of the oldest mills; from the olive tree to DOP olive oil; from the cows and sheep grazing to the freshly produced, hot, hot cheese. You will be able to taste everything and above all you will see it made as our grandparents did, strictly by hand, without machines. You will be able to see the making of pistachios, from the plant to the finished product and of course you will be able to taste it.
You will be able to attend cooking lessons, taste typical sweets or freshly made breads seasoned with oil that still smells of harvested olives. You will be able to delve into Sicilian culture, where culture means family, people, faces, dialect, food, smells and colours, walking through the streets of ancient villages accompanied by certified hiking guides. Finally, you will have the opportunity to regenerate body and mind within a real natural oasis where the protagonists are nature and silence. You will wake up hearing the birds singing and fall asleep to the chorus of crickets, admiring splendid sunsets. Our farmhouse awaits you, to rest and relax. We will pamper you with breakfasts made with our organic, sweet and savory products, or with dedicated themed evenings such as live music and tasting of bitters.
